Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Steak & Shrimp:

  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

For the Pasta:

  • 12 oz bowtie (farfalle) or your preferred pasta
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (optional for extra creaminess)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • Cook the Pasta:
    • Boil pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Cook the Steak:
    • Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
    • Season steak pieces with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and Italian seasoning.
    • Sear the steak for about 3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • Cook the Shrimp:
    • In the same pan, add 1 tbsp butter and minced garlic.
    • Add shrimp, season with salt and red pepper flakes, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
  • Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
    • In the same pan, melt the remaining butter.
    • Stir in heavy cream (if using) and Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  • Combine Everything:
    • Toss the cooked pasta in the garlic butter sauce.
    • Add the steak and shrimp back to the pan and mix well.
    • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot!

Notes

  • Swap out heavy cream for chicken broth for a lighter sauce.
  • Use filet mignon or NY strip for a more tender steak option.
  • Add mushrooms or spinach for extra texture.
