- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add shrimp to the skillet in a single layer.
- Cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- Remove skillet from heat and stir in fresh dill and lemon juice.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges if desired.
Notes
- Do not overcook shrimp to keep them tender.
- Serve over rice, pasta, or with crusty bread.
- You can substitute parsley if dill is unavailable.
