For the Pork Chops:
- 4 boneless pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp olive oil
For the Garlic Butter Sauce:
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Pork Chops:
- Pat pork chops dry and season both sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
- Sear the Pork Chops:
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear pork chops for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
- Add chicken broth and lemon juice, stirring to deglaze the pan.
- Simmer for 2 minutes, then return the pork chops to the pan.
- Finish Cooking:
- Spoon the garlic butter sauce over the pork chops.
- Let them simmer for another 3-5 minutes, until fully cooked (internal temp of 145°F).
- Garnish & Serve:
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with mashed potatoes or roasted veggies.
