Description

These Garlic Butter Lobster Tails are tender, juicy, and packed with buttery, garlicky goodness. Perfectly broiled and finished with a squeeze of lemon, this dish is a luxurious yet simple way to enjoy lobster at home!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 lobster tails
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  • Prepare the Lobster Tails:

    • Using kitchen scissors, cut along the top shell of each lobster tail, stopping at the tail fin.
    • Gently pull the meat out of the shell while keeping it attached at the base, then rest it on top of the shell.
  • Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:

    • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Brush and Broil:

    • Preheat the oven to broil (high heat, 500°F/260°C).
    • Place lobster tails on a baking sheet and generously brush with garlic butter.
    • Broil for 8-10 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and slightly golden.
  • Serve:

    • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges for extra zest.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, baste the lobster tails with more garlic butter halfway through cooking.
  • If you prefer grilling, cook over medium-high heat for about 5-6 minutes, flipping once.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
