- 1 lb pork tenderloin or pork shoulder, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- 2 tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or thyme (optional)
- 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- Pat pork dry and season with salt, pepper, and optional garlic powder.
- Heat oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear pork in batches, 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- Lower heat to medium. Add butter and garlic to the skillet; cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Return pork to the skillet. Toss to coat in garlic butter. Add lemon juice if using.
- Garnish with fresh herbs and serve hot with sides like pasta, rice, or vegetables.
Notes
- Don’t overcrowd the skillet; work in batches for best sear.
- Use fresh garlic for the most flavor.
- Lemon juice brightens the dish—add at the end off-heat.
- For extra richness, add a splash of cream after the garlic.
