- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for peanut butter swirl)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter and chocolate chips together, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat.
- Whisk in granulated sugar and brown sugar until combined.
- Stir in eggs and vanilla extract until the mixture is glossy and thick.
- Fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- In a small bowl, mix peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Dollop the peanut butter mixture over the chocolate batter and use a knife to swirl it into the top.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the center is set but still fudgy.
- Cool completely before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For extra texture, add chopped peanuts or chocolate chunks to the batter.
- Use natural peanut butter for a less sweet option.
