Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until combined.
- Sift in flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Gently fold until just combined—do not overmix!
- Stir in chocolate chips for extra gooeyness.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the center is set but still slightly soft.
- Let cool completely before slicing into squares.
