Description

A vibrant and icy cocktail combining blueberries, lime juice, and tequila for a fruity twist on the classic margarita—perfect for summer sipping.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice (about 2 limes)
  • 2 ounces tequila
  • 1 ounce triple sec or orange liqueur
  • 1 tablespoon agave syrup or simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup ice
  • Lime wedges and salt or sugar for rimming the glass (optional)
  • Fresh blueberries or lime slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. If desired, rim the glasses with lime juice and dip into salt or sugar. Set aside.
  2. In a blender, combine frozen blueberries, lime juice, tequila, triple sec, agave syrup, and ice.
  3. Blend until smooth and slushy.
  4. Pour into prepared glasses.
  5. Garnish with fresh blueberries or lime slices and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less agave syrup.
  • Use frozen mixed berries for a different flavor twist.
  • Make it non-alcoholic by omitting tequila and triple sec and using lime soda or sparkling water instead.
