Festive Holiday Monster Cookies are chewy, colorful, and packed with oats, peanut butter, chocolate chips, and holiday-themed candy. These cookies are perfect for parties, cookie exchanges, or cozy winter treats.

- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 4 1/2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup red and green candy-coated chocolate pieces (like holiday M&M’s)
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup holiday sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in peanut butter, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together oats, baking soda, salt, and flour.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until fully incorporated.
- Stir in chocolate chips, mini chips, candy pieces, and sprinkles if using.
- Scoop heaping tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are golden and centers are set but soft.
- Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
- Do not overbake—cookies continue to cook slightly after removing from the oven.
- Use a cookie scoop for uniform size and even baking.
- Customize with your favorite candy or seasonal colors.
