Description

These classic deviled eggs feature a creamy, tangy yolk filling served in tender egg white halves, garnished with paprika and chives. Perfect for gatherings or elegant appetizers, they’re quick to prepare and full of flavor.


Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs, hard-boiled and peeled
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp vinegar or lemon juice
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Paprika, for garnish
  • Chives or green onions, finely chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Peel the hard-boiled eggs and slice each in half lengthwise.
  2. Carefully remove the yolks and place them in a medium bowl.
  3. Mash the yolks with a fork until finely crumbled.
  4. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and vinegar or lemon juice. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  6. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.
  7. Sprinkle with paprika and garnish with chopped chives.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
