Description

A rich, creamy, and flavorful lobster bisque loaded with tender lobster meat, vegetables, and a touch of spice for the perfect comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 lobster tails, cooked and chopped
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 1 celery stalk, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups seafood or chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion, carrot, and celery, cooking until softened.
  • Stir in garlic and tomato paste, cooking for another minute.
  • Sprinkle in flour, stirring constantly, then slowly add white wine and broth.
  • Simmer for 15 minutes, then blend until smooth.
  • Add heavy cream, paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  • Mix in lobster meat and let cook for 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can use shrimp if lobster is unavailable.
  • Add a splash of sherry for extra richness.
