Description

This Double Cheeseburger is the ultimate burger experience, featuring two juicy beef patties, melty cheese, and all the classic toppings on a toasted bun. Perfect for burger lovers!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 4 slices American or cheddar cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 2 tbsp butter (for toasting buns)
  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • Lettuce, tomato, pickles (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat.
  • Divide ground beef into 8 equal portions and form into thin patties.
  • Season patties with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Cook each patty for 2-3 minutes per side, adding cheese on top of 4 patties during the last minute.
  • Stack a cheese-topped patty over a plain patty to form double layers.
  • Butter and toast hamburger buns until golden.
