Description

These Crispy Honey Garlic Chicken Wings are golden-fried to perfection and coated in a sticky, sweet, and garlicky glaze. They’re ideal for parties, game day snacks, or a flavorful appetizer that everyone will enjoy.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 kg chicken wings
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch or all-purpose flour
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Optional: sesame seeds, chopped green onions, fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Pat wings dry and season with salt and pepper. Toss in cornstarch or flour until evenly coated.
  2. Heat oil in a deep skillet or pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry wings in batches for 8–10 minutes until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  3. In a saucepan, sauté garlic in a little oil until fragrant. Add honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and water. Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Toss the fried wings in the sauce until evenly coated.
  5. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions or parsley if desired. Serve hot.

  • For extra crispiness, double-fry the wings.
  • Bake or air-fry for a lighter version.
  • Use gluten-free soy sauce and cornstarch for a gluten-free option.
