Description

Crispy Garlic Parmesan Potato Wedges are oven-baked to golden perfection and coated in a savory blend of garlic, herbs, and parmesan cheese. Crunchy on the outside and tender inside, they’re the ultimate side or snack.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 medium Russet or Yukon Gold potatoes
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or dried herbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Scrub and rinse the potatoes. Cut each one into even-sized wedges.
  3. In a large bowl, toss wedges with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread wedges in a single layer on the baking sheet, ensuring they don’t overlap.
  5. Bake for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  6. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese.
  7. Let cool slightly, garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Soaking wedges in cold water for 30 minutes before baking helps increase crispiness (optional).
  • Use parchment paper or grease the sheet well to prevent sticking.
  • Try sweet potatoes or different herbs for variety.
  • Serve with dipping sauces like ranch, aioli, or marinara for added flavor.
