- 2 large chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for spice)
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In three separate bowls, prepare the breading station:
- Bowl 1: Flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- Bowl 2: Beaten eggs.
- Bowl 3: Panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
- Dip each chicken strip into the flour mixture, then into the egg wash, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the chicken tenders in batches, about 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, double coat the tenders by repeating the egg and breadcrumb step.
- Use an air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for a healthier version, cooking for 10-12 minutes.
- Great with honey mustard, ranch, or barbecue sauce.
