For the Chicken:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs or panko
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
For the Alfredo Sauce:
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta, cooked
Instructions
- Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Dredge each piece in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry chicken until golden and crispy (about 4 minutes per side). Drain on paper towels.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and sauté garlic. Add heavy cream and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Cook until smooth and thickened.
- Toss cooked fettuccine with the Alfredo sauce.
- Slice crispy chicken and place on top of the pasta. Garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
- For a healthier option, bake the chicken at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes instead of frying.
- You can use store-bought Alfredo sauce for convenience.
- Serve with garlic bread or a side salad for a complete meal.
