Crispy golden-fried chicken served over creamy Alfredo pasta for a restaurant-style comfort meal at home.

Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Chicken:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs or panko
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil (for frying)

For the Alfredo Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta, cooked

Instructions

  • Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Dredge each piece in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry chicken until golden and crispy (about 4 minutes per side). Drain on paper towels.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter and sauté garlic. Add heavy cream and simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Cook until smooth and thickened.
  • Toss cooked fettuccine with the Alfredo sauce.
  • Slice crispy chicken and place on top of the pasta. Garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • For a healthier option, bake the chicken at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes instead of frying.
  • You can use store-bought Alfredo sauce for convenience.
  • Serve with garlic bread or a side salad for a complete meal.
