- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder or 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder (or minced garlic if using).
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear chicken breasts for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and melt butter. Add minced garlic (if not used earlier) and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly reduced.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Simmer until sauce thickens to desired consistency.
- Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over it. Simmer for an additional 2–3 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm with your choice of sides.

- To make it dairy-light, substitute coconut milk for cream.
