Description

Creamy Parmesan Chicken is a quick and comforting dish featuring golden-seared chicken breasts in a rich, velvety parmesan cream sauce. It’s perfect for both weeknight dinners and elegant gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder or 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder (or minced garlic if using).
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear chicken breasts for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and melt butter. Add minced garlic (if not used earlier) and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly reduced.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Simmer until sauce thickens to desired consistency.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over it. Simmer for an additional 2–3 minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm with your choice of sides.

  • To make it dairy-light, substitute coconut milk for cream.
