- 300 g penne or fusilli pasta
- 200 g pork strips
- 200 g broccoli florets
- 150 g mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 50 g Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta and broccoli together in boiling salted water until pasta is al dente and broccoli is tender; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onion and garlic until fragrant and soft.
- Add pork strips and cook until browned.
- Add mushrooms and cook until tender.
- Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Toss pasta and broccoli with the sauce. Adjust seasoning with salt and black pepper. Serve warm.
Notes
- Use chicken or beef instead of pork if desired.
- Add spinach or peas for extra vegetables.
- For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
- Store in the fridge up to 3 days. Reheat gently with a splash of milk.
