Description

Creamy Mushroom and Broccoli Pasta with Pork is a satisfying pasta dish featuring tender pork, earthy mushrooms, and broccoli in a rich cream sauce.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 300 g penne or fusilli pasta
  • 200 g pork strips
  • 200 g broccoli florets
  • 150 g mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 50 g Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta and broccoli together in boiling salted water until pasta is al dente and broccoli is tender; drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onion and garlic until fragrant and soft.
  3. Add pork strips and cook until browned.
  4. Add mushrooms and cook until tender.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Toss pasta and broccoli with the sauce. Adjust seasoning with salt and black pepper. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Use chicken or beef instead of pork if desired.
  • Add spinach or peas for extra vegetables.
  • For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
  • Store in the fridge up to 3 days. Reheat gently with a splash of milk.
