- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh herbs (thyme, rosemary, parsley)
- 1 tbsp butter (optional)
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken for 5–6 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Deglaze pan with chicken broth, scraping up browned bits. Stir in heavy cream, lemon juice, and zest. Simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return chicken to skillet and spoon sauce over it. Simmer for 2–3 minutes to heat through.
- Stir in fresh herbs and butter (if using). Serve warm with desired sides.
