Description

  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté for 6–8 minutes until browned and tender.
  3. Stir in garlic and thyme; cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Optional: Add white wine or broth to deglaze the pan. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until reduced.
  5. Reduce heat to medium-low and pour in the heavy cream. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese if using, and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

  • Use a mix of mushrooms for a more complex flavor.
