- 1/2 cup mayonnaise

- 1 tablespoon sugar

- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage and carrots.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, sugar, celery seed (if using), salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture.
- Toss until evenly coated.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to let flavors meld.
Notes
- For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt in place of some or all of the mayo.
- Make up to 1 day in advance; stir before serving.
