Description

Ingredients

  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook fettuccine until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken 5–7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and slice into strips.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat and add butter. Sauté garlic for about 1 minute.
  4. Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and cook, stirring until sauce thickens.
  5. Return pasta and chicken to the skillet. Toss to coat evenly with sauce.
  6. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
  7. Serve hot with garlic bread or salad on the side.
