Description

A gourmet grilled cheese sandwich with creamy brie, melted mozzarella, and sweet-tart cranberry sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 2 tbsp butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 4 oz brie cheese, sliced
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  • Butter one side of each bread slice.
  • Place a slice of bread (buttered side down) in a pan over medium heat.
  • Layer brie, mozzarella, and cranberry sauce.
  • Top with the second slice of bread (buttered side up).
  • Cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  • Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use a cranberry-orange sauce for extra flavor.
  • Substitute sourdough with brioche for a sweeter touch.
