Description

Crack Burgers are ultra-flavorful beef patties infused with ranch seasoning, crispy bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese—grilled or pan-fried to perfection and served on toasted buns. This addictive twist on a classic burger earns its name for good reason.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 packet dry ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste (optional)
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 2 tbsp butter (for toasting buns)
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayo

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ranch seasoning, cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until just combined; avoid overmixing.
  2. Form mixture into 4 equal-sized burger patties.
  3. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 4–5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
  4. While burgers cook, butter the buns and toast them cut-side down in a skillet or on the grill until golden.
  5. Assemble burgers on toasted buns with desired toppings.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy.

Notes

  • Do not overmix the beef mixture to avoid tough burgers.
  • Use turkey or ground chicken for a leaner version.
  • For extra flavor, top with a dollop of ranch dressing or spicy mayo.
  • Patties can be made and frozen raw—separate with parchment paper.
