- 2 cups cooked chicken or turkey, shredded
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup cooked pasta or rice
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, mixed vegetables, cooked pasta or rice, cream of mushroom soup, and milk.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika, then mix well.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
- Mix breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over the cheese layer.
- Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
- Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken with beef or keep it vegetarian by using beans.
- Add herbs like thyme or parsley for extra flavor.
- Serve with a fresh green salad for a complete meal.
