Description
This no-knead artisan bread is crusty on the outside, soft and airy inside, and requires minimal effort. Perfect for sandwiches, soups, or just enjoying with butter!

- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, and yeast.
- Add warm water and stir until combined. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise for 12-18 hours.
- Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Place a Dutch oven inside to heat for 30 minutes.
- Transfer dough onto a floured surface, shape into a ball, and let rest for 30 minutes.
- Place dough in the hot Dutch oven, cover, and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the lid and bake for another 15 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool before slicing.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add herbs or cheese to the dough.
- Store at room temperature for up to 3 days.
- Works well with whole wheat flour for a heartier texture.
