Ingredients

1 cup water

2 tbsp granulated sugar

2 tbsp unsalted butter

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup granulated sugar mixed with 1 tsp cinnamon (for coating)

1/2 cup melted semi-sweet chocolate (for drizzling)
Instructions

In a saucepan, bring water, sugar, and butter to a boil.

Remove from heat and stir in the flour until a dough forms.

Allow the dough to cool slightly, then beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.

Transfer dough into a piping bag fitted with a star tip.

Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).

Pipe strips of dough into the hot oil, cutting with scissors, and fry until golden brown.
