A fresh and vibrant chunky salsa made with tomatoes, onions, peppers, cilantro, and lime—perfect for dipping or topping.
Ingredients

- 4 ripe tomatoes, diced
- 1 small red onion, finely chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cumin (optional)
Instructions
- Combine the diced tomatoes, onion, bell pepper, and jalapeño in a mixing bowl.
- Add the cilantro and garlic.
- Stir in the lime juice, salt, pepper, and cumin if using.
- Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- Serve chilled with chips or as a topping for tacos, meats, or salads.
Notes
- For extra heat, keep some jalapeño seeds in.
- Use Roma tomatoes to reduce excess liquid.
- Best served fresh but can be stored refrigerated for 2–3 days.
