- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until a dough forms.
- Divide the dough in half. Mix cocoa powder into one half until well incorporated.
- Take a small amount from each dough and gently swirl together to form marbled cookie balls. Add chocolate chips into each dough portion before swirling.
- Place the dough balls on baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are set and centers are slightly soft.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For deeper chocolate flavor, use dark cocoa powder.
- Chill dough for 30 minutes before baking for thicker cookies.
- Swap chocolate chips with white or caramel chips for variation.
