Description

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until a dough forms.
  5. Divide the dough in half. Mix cocoa powder into one half until well incorporated.
  6. Take a small amount from each dough and gently swirl together to form marbled cookie balls. Add chocolate chips into each dough portion before swirling.
  7. Place the dough balls on baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are set and centers are slightly soft.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
