- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1–2 tablespoons cold water
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 100g dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, halved
- Optional: powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine flour and powdered sugar. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add cold water gradually and mix until dough forms.
- Press dough into mini tartlet pans and prick the bottom with a fork.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden. Let cool completely.
- In a small saucepan, heat cream until just simmering, then pour over chopped chocolate.
- Let sit for 1 minute, then stir until smooth. Add vanilla extract and mix.
- Pour chocolate ganache into cooled tartlet shells.
- Top with halved strawberries and chill for 1–2 hours until set.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving, if desired.
Notes
- You can prepare tart shells a day ahead and store them in an airtight container.
- Use high-quality dark chocolate for a richer flavor.
- Garnish with mint leaves for an elegant presentation.
