Description

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, beat the eggs, then add milk, oil or melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir just until combined. Do not overmix. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease if needed.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook for another 1–2 minutes until set.
  6. Stack pancakes on a plate and drizzle with melted chocolate or chocolate sauce.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy with your favorite toppings.
