Description

A rich, creamy chocolate mousse cake topped with chocolate shavings for an indulgent dessert!


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups crushed chocolate cookies
  • 4 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions

  • Mix crushed cookies with melted butter and press into a springform pan. Chill for 15 minutes.
  • Melt chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  • Fold melted chocolate into the whipped cream mixture until smooth.
  • Pour over the crust and smooth the top.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  • Garnish with chocolate shavings and serve chilled.

Notes

  • Use dark chocolate for a richer flavor.
