Description

These classic chocolate chip cookies are soft, chewy, and loaded with gooey chocolate chips. Perfect for any occasion!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and creamy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
  • In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Scoop dough onto the baking sheet (about 2 tablespoons per cookie).
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are golden but the center is slightly soft.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes
