- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour (heat-treated)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Heat-treat the flour: Microwave or bake the flour at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes to make it safe for consumption.
- Mix butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add vanilla, salt, and milk.
- Add flour and mix until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Roll into bite-sized balls and chill for 20 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use mini chocolate chips for better texture.
- Store in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for later.
- Add a pinch of sea salt on top for extra flavor
