- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 banana
- 3/4 cup milk of choice (dairy, almond, oat, or soy)
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt or 1 scoop protein powder (optional)
- 1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)
- Ice cubes (optional, for thicker texture)
Instructions
- Add frozen cherries, banana, cocoa powder, milk, and yogurt or protein powder (if using) to a high-speed blender.
- Blend on high until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides if needed.
- Taste and adjust sweetness by adding honey or maple syrup, if desired.
- For a thicker smoothie, add ice cubes and blend again.
- Pour into a glass and serve immediately. Garnish with chocolate shavings or cherries if desired.
