- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 6 corn or flour tortillas
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix chili powder, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
- Cut tortillas into triangles and place in a large bowl.
- Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat.
- Sprinkle the chili spice mix over the tortilla pieces and toss again to ensure even coverage.
- Spread tortilla pieces in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until crisp and lightly golden, turning once halfway through.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Adjust cayenne pepper for more or less heat.
- Use whole-wheat tortillas for a healthier option.
- Store leftover spice mix in an airtight container for up to 3 months.
