For the Chicken:
- 2 boneless chicken thighs or breasts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
For the Wrap:
- 2 large pita or tortilla wraps
- 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/4 cup red cabbage, shredded
- 1/4 cup cucumber, diced
- 1/4 cup tomato, diced
- 2 tbsp garlic sauce or tahini sauce
For the Fries:
- 2 medium potatoes, cut into fries
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Mix all chicken seasoning ingredients and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Grill or pan-fry chicken until fully cooked and slightly charred. Slice into strips.
- Toss fries with olive oil, salt, and pepper, then bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes.
- Assemble the wrap by placing lettuce, cabbage, cucumber, and tomato on the pita.
- Add the cooked chicken and drizzle with garlic sauce. Wrap tightly.
- Serve with fries and an extra side of sauce.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken with lamb or beef.
- Add pickles for an authentic Middle Eastern taste.
- Serve with hummus or tzatziki for extra flavor.
