Description

This Chicken Parmesan Pasta combines crispy breaded chicken, al dente pasta, and a rich, cheesy topping for a perfect comfort meal. A restaurant-quality dish made easy at home!

For the Chicken:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup olive oil (for frying)

For the Pasta:

  • 12 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken:
    • Flatten the chicken breasts to even thickness.
    • Dredge each breast in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with a mix of breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
    • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and fry chicken until golden brown (about 4-5 minutes per side). Set aside.
  2. Cook the Pasta:
    • Boil pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Make the Sauce:
    • In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic for about 1 minute.
    • Add heavy cream, chicken broth, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 3-4 minutes.
    • Stir in Parmesan and mozzarella cheese until melted and smooth.
  4. Assemble the Dish:
    • Toss cooked pasta in the creamy sauce.
    • Slice the crispy chicken and place it on top of the pasta.
    • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot!

Notes

  • You can bake the chicken instead of frying for a healthier version.
  • Add red pepper flakes for a bit of heat.
