Description

A refreshing and creamy layered dessert that combines the sweetness of strawberries, the smoothness of whipped cream, and the crispiness of pastry layers for a delightful treat.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 package (3 oz) strawberry Jello
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed graham crackers or baked pastry sheets
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whipped cream or Cool Whip
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  • Dissolve strawberry Jello in 1 cup of boiling water, then stir in cold water. Let it cool slightly.
  • In a bowl, mix crushed graham crackers with melted butter and press into the bottom of a baking dish.
  • In another bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Fold in 1 cup of whipped cream.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture over the crust evenly.
  • Layer sliced strawberries over the cream cheese layer.
  • Pour the slightly thickened Jello over the strawberries and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  • Top with remaining whipped cream before serving.

Notes

  • You can use pastry sheets instead of graham crackers for a flaky texture.
  • Sprinkle with powdered sugar for an elegant finish.
