Description

Cherry Cheesecake Lush Dessert is a creamy, layered no-bake treat featuring a buttery graham cracker crust, a smooth cheesecake layer, cherry pie filling, and whipped topping. Perfect for potlucks or holiday gatherings, it’s rich, refreshing, and easy to prepare ahead of time.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping, divided
  • 1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling
  • 1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 1/2 cups cold milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined. Press into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish to form the crust. Refrigerate while preparing the next layer.
  2. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until creamy. Fold in half of the whipped topping. Spread evenly over the crust.
  3. In another bowl, whisk pudding mix with cold milk until thickened, about 2 minutes. Spread over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Spoon cherry pie filling evenly over the pudding layer.
  5. Top with the remaining whipped topping, spreading evenly across the surface.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until fully set before serving.
  7. Slice and serve chilled. Optional: garnish with crushed graham crackers or fresh cherries.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, use reduced-fat cream cheese and sugar-free pudding mix.
  • Can substitute other fruit pie fillings such as blueberry or strawberry.
  • Best when made a day in advance to allow flavors to blend.
