Description

This Cheesy Garlic Pull-Apart Bread is loaded with gooey melted cheese, buttery garlic goodness, and fresh herbs. Perfect as an appetizer or side dish for pasta, soups, or holiday gatherings!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 large loaf of crusty bread (sourdough or French bread)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven:

    • Set oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Prepare the Bread:

    • Place the loaf on a cutting board and make diagonal cuts about 1 inch apart, without slicing all the way through.
    • Turn the loaf and make cuts in the opposite direction, creating a crisscross pattern.
  • Make the Garlic Butter:

    • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Stuff the Bread:

    • Use a spoon or brush to drizzle the garlic butter into the cuts of the bread.
    • Stuff the shredded mozzarella and cheddar into the gaps, making sure it’s evenly distributed.

Notes

  • Use a mix of cheeses like Gouda or provolone for extra flavor.
  • Add cooked bacon bits or jalapeños for a fun twist.
  • Best served fresh but can be reheated in the oven at 350°F for 10 minutes.
