- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, instant yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Stir and knead until a smooth dough forms. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled.
- Mix shredded mozzarella with minced garlic or herbs if desired.
- Divide dough into 10–12 equal portions. Flatten each piece, place cheese in the center, and pinch to seal into a ball.
- Place buns on a parchment-lined baking tray. Cover and let rise again for 20–30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Mix melted butter, garlic, and Italian seasoning for the topping.
- Brush buns with garlic butter, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and bake for 18–20 minutes until golden brown.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm.
