For the Filling:
- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 1/2 cup Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
For the Dough:
- 1 package refrigerated pizza dough (or crescent roll dough)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tbsp butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder (for topping)
Instructions
- Prepare the Filling:
- In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, black pepper, and parsley.
- Assemble the Pockets:
- Roll out the dough and cut into rectangles.
- Spoon the Alfredo chicken mixture onto one side of each rectangle.
- Fold over and press edges to seal. Use a fork to crimp the edges.
- Air Fry the Pockets:
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Brush the pockets with egg wash for a golden crust.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
- Add Finishing Touches:
- Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
