Description

A crispy, golden-brown puff pastry roll filled with juicy seasoned chicken, gooey melted cheese, and delicious herbs.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 2 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
  • In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, oregano, mozzarella, and parmesan cheese.
  • Spread the mixture evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a ½-inch border.
  • Roll the pastry tightly into a log and place it seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  • Brush the top with beaten egg and sprinkle with parsley.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can add sautéed mushrooms or spinach for extra flavor.
  • Serve with a side of marinara sauce or garlic aioli.
