- 12 slider rolls or dinner rolls
- 12 slices deli ham or turkey (optional)
- 6 slices cheddar or Swiss cheese, halved
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise (optional)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp poppy seeds (optional)
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Without separating the rolls, slice them in half horizontally. Place the bottom half in the baking dish.
- Spread mayonnaise over the bottom layer if using. Layer with deli meat and cheese slices.
- Place the top half of the rolls over the fillings.
- In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and poppy seeds if using.
- Brush the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls.
- Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 5–7 minutes until tops are golden and cheese is melted.
- Garnish with chopped parsley, slice, and serve warm.
