Description

Cheese Garlic Bread is a warm, cheesy twist on classic garlic bread, featuring a crisp crust, buttery garlic spread, and melty mozzarella. It’s an irresistible side or snack that complements any meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 baguette or Italian loaf
  • 1/2 cup salted butter, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the baguette in half lengthwise and place both halves on a baking sheet.
  3. In a bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, and herbs until well combined.
  4. Spread the garlic butter mixture generously over the cut side of each bread half.
  5. Top evenly with shredded mozzarella and sprinkle Parmesan on top if using.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until cheese is melted and bread is warmed through.
  7. Broil for 1–2 minutes to crisp the top, watching closely to prevent burning.
  8. Remove from oven, slice into pieces, and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve warm.
