Description

Flaky Caramelized Onion & Cheese Tartlets are savory bites filled with golden onions and gooey cheese—perfect for parties, appetizers, or an elegant snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

  • 2 onions, thinly sliced

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1/2 cup shredded Gruyère or cheddar cheese

  • Salt and pepper

 

  • Fresh parsley (optional)


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Sauté onions in butter and oil until deeply golden.

  • Cut pastry into rounds and place on a baking sheet.

  • Top with caramelized onions and cheese.

  • Bake 15–20 mins until golden and puffed.

 

  • Garnish with herbs.


Notes

  • Add balsamic vinegar to onions for extra flavor.

 

  • Great served warm or at room temp.
