- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons butter, divided
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup blackberries or mixed berries

Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, 2 tablespoons butter, and milk until a soft dough forms.

- Top with fresh berries and drizzle extra caramel sauce on top. Garnish with fresh mint if desired.
- Serve warm for the best flavor and texture.
Notes
- Use medium heat and stir constantly to prevent burning the caramel.
- Shape dumplings ahead of time and refrigerate until ready to cook.
- Use any combination of berries based on preference or availability.
- Reheat leftovers gently with a splash of cream to refresh the sauce.
- For a gluten-free version, use a gluten-free flour blend.
