Instructions
- Mix crushed cookies with melted butter until well combined. Press firmly into the bottom of a greased or parchment-lined 8×8 inch baking dish. Chill for 10–15 minutes.
- In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in half of the whipped topping.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled crust.
- Pour and spread caramel sauce evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Top with remaining whipped topping and spread evenly.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to set.
- Garnish with chopped pecans or toffee bits before serving. Slice and serve chilled.
