These Caramel Chocolate Bars are layered with buttery shortbread, chewy homemade caramel, and a luscious chocolate topping. The ultimate treat for caramel lovers — rich, sweet, and no fork required.
Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/2 cup sugar

2 cups all-purpose flour

Pinch of salt
Caramel layer:

1 cup unsalted butter

1 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup light corn syrup

1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk

1/2 tsp sea salt (optional)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line 9×13-inch pan with parchment.

Mix melted butter, sugar, flour, and salt for shortbread. Press into pan. Bake 20 mins until lightly golden. Cool slightly.

In a saucepan, melt butter, brown sugar, syrup, and condensed milk. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly for 10–12 mins until thick and golden. Pour over crust. Chill for 30 mins.

Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil. Pour over caramel. Spread smooth.

Chill 1–2 hours until set. Slice into bars and DEVOUR.
Notes

For salted caramel vibes, sprinkle flaky sea salt on top of the chocolate.
